Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

For our client, a manufacturer and distributor, we are looking for candidates for the position of Accountant. If you are a communicative and proactive person who wants to develop in an international organization - this is an offer for you!

Due to the company's location, we especially invite to apply people from the western part of Poznań.

Responsibilities:

• Daily posting of bank statements
• Posting and updating accounts receivable 
• Debt collection 
• Preparing and executing weekly (external) and monthly (internal) payments 
• Support in managing financial operations 
• Oversight of the organization's day-to-day financial activities, focusing on manual journal processing and transactions related to inventory and cost of goods 
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies (local, USGAAP and TAX) and procedures 
• Support in processing balance sheet reconciliation 
• Support in analyzing financial statements and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement 
• Support in calculating bonuses and commissions for customers and related reservations in the ERP system 
• Support in conducting financial analysis 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in an international company 
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting 
• Fluency in English 
• Attention to Detail 
• Profound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. 
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and ERP system 
• Create a positive work environment through teamwork  
• The capability to work independently with minimal supervision
